Antjärns Camping och Stugby was the first site we have used in Scandinavia in which the receptionist did not speak any English that did not stop him from being most helpful and when you have access to “Google translate" you can make yourself understood in any language.

Just off the E4 there was some road noise but we did not find this a problem although some may. The pitches were spacious and generally flat, some with views across a lake.

The facilities are a little strange in that in the one toilet block there are four stalls two with representations of females on them and two with males, and, at the end of the room are two urinals. There were no family facilities which with the firm Brit belief that every one in the world, bar them of course, is a pedophile makes this site feel a little uncomfortable. The male and female showers are in different rooms but each shower has a curtain rather than a door into the shower dressing/undressing area and another into the shower itself. All facilities were however kept clean and well provided with loo roll, soap etc,.

This was a pleasant site close to some pleasant country drives/cycles/walks. Would recommend.
