Stevns Klint.

The geologically important fish clay layer lays between the chalk layer underneath and the overhanging  limestone layer which, as the fish clay layer is just a few centimetres thick makes it difficult to spot. There are notices warning that it is not safe to get close to the layer but the authorities are apparently working on a plan to give greater access.
