Harold Bluetooth.

On the four pillars surrounding the chancel are frescoes with latin inscriptions below They depict to the north, shown below, Harold Bluetooth, King Canutes sister Esatrid, and to the south his son Sweyn Estridsen and the latter’s close friend bishop Vilhelm. All of whom had a significant impact on the cathedral and all of whom are buried in it although all four would have died long before the cathedral was built but were moved from their original graves in a different church probably in the 1200’s.
